New Issue: HSBC prices $20.24 million three-year notes with cap linked to Nikkei

Chicago, July 29 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $20.24 million of 0% notes due July 28, 2017 linked to the Nikkei Stock Average index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a cap of 48.06%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.
