HSBC plans 14-month Accelerated Return Notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Chicago, April 2 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% Accelerated Return Notes due June 2015 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum return of 13% to 17%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.
The notes will price in April and settle in May.
