New Issue: HSBC prices $4.26 million buffered uncapped notes linked to Dow

Tacoma, Wash., April 29 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $4.26 million of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due April 28, 2017 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 17% and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 17%.
