New Issue: HSBC prices $4.99 million jump notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Tacoma, Wash., April 2 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $4.99 million of 0% jump securities due May 5, 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the exchange-traded fund's final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 11.8%. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the share price decline.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent. Distribution is through Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC.
