HSBC to price fixed-to-floating notes due 2020 with 2% initial rate

Tacoma, Wash., March 5 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price fixed-to-floating-rate notes due March 20, 2020, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate will be 2% for the first year. After that, the interest rate will be Libor plus 75 basis points, subject to a minimum rate of 0.75% per year and a maximum rate of 6% per year. Interest will be payable quarterly.
The payout at maturity will be par.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will settle March 20.
The Cusip number is 40432XCH2.
