Chicago, June 25 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.31 million of 9.2% trigger yield optimization notes due June 28, 2013 linked to Dow Chemical Co. shares, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable monthly.
The face amount of each note will be equal to the initial price of Dow Chemical stock.
The payout at maturity will be par in cash unless the final price of Dow Chemical stock is less than 75% of the initial share price, in which case investors will receive one Dow Chemical share per note.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter, and UBS Financial Services Inc. is the agent.
