New Issue: HSBC prices $1.37 million buffered AMPS linked to indexes, fund

New York, Feb. 15 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.37 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due May 17, 2013 linked to a basket of two indexes and an index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The equally weighted basket components are the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any gain in the index, subject to a cap of 15.4%.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to declines beyond 10%.
