New Issue: HSBC prices $125,000 of 18-month buffered AMPS on iShares MSCI EM fund

New York, June 21 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $125,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Dec. 24, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, subject to a maximum return of 16%. Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
