New Issue: HSBC prices $565,000 buffered AMPS linked to basket of indexes, fund

San Diego, Nov. 22 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $565,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Nov. 25, 2014 linked to a basket of two indexes and one index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The equally weighted basket components are the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any gain in the index, subject to a cap of 40.5%.
Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 20% and will be exposed to declines beyond 20%.
