New York, July 16 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $39.277 million of equity buffer notes due July 20, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
At maturity, investors will receive par plus 111% of any index return.
Investors will receive par for losses up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% the index declines beyond 20%.
