New Issue: HSBC prices $1.27 million autocallable barrier notes with step-up premium linked to S&P 500

New York, Oct. 6 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.27 million of 0% autocallable barrier notes with step-up premium due Oct. 4, 2028 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called automatically if the index closes at or above its initial level on any semiannual observation date after one year at a premium of 10% per year.

The payout at maturity will be par if the index finishes at or above its 70% barrier. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines if it finishes below the barrier level.
