New Issue: HSBC prices $798,000 autocallable barrier notes with step-up premium on indexes
Chicago, May 25 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $798,000 of 0% autocallable barrier notes with step-up premium due July 6, 2027 linked to the least performing of the Dow Jones industrial average, Russell 2000 index and S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called automatically starting on June 30, 2023 and on any subsequent annual observation date at a premium of 12% per year.
The payout at maturity will be par if the worst performing index finishes at or above its 70% barrier. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the worst performing index declines if it finishes below the barrier level.
