New Issue: HSBC prices $147,000 11.2% autocallable yield notes linked to Micron Technology

Chicago, May 12 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $147,000 of autocallable yield notes due Sept. 25, 2023 linked to the common stock of Micron Technology, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Investors will receive a monthly coupon at an annual rate of 11.2%.

The securities will be called automatically if the level of the stock is greater than or equal to its initial level on any monthly call observation date starting after six months.

If the stock gains or ends above its 60% downside threshold the payout at maturity will be par plus the coupon. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the stock declines if it finishes below its downside threshold level.
