New Issue: HSBC sells $8.33 million 7.25% autocallable yield notes tied to iShares MSCI EAFE ETF

Buffalo, N.Y., Feb. 15 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $8.33 million of 7.25% autocallable yield notes due Aug. 2, 2024 linked to the performance of the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable semiannually.

The notes will be called at par if the ETF closes at or above its initial level on any semiannual call date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the ETF finishes below its 75% trigger price, in which case investors will lose 1.3333% for every 1% decline beyond 25%.
