HSBC plans to price capped market participation notes on S&P 500

New York, Oct. 27 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% market participation securities due May 3, 2024 tied to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the return of the index is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return of the index, capped at par plus 12.2%.

If the index finishes flat or declines, investors will receive par.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on Oct. 31 and settle on Nov. 3.

The Cusip number is 40441XSD3.
