New Issue: HSBC sells $6 million autocallable buffered AMPS linked to Nasdaq-100

Buffalo, N.Y., July 15 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $6 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities with call feature due July 15, 2024 linked to the Nasdaq-100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The securities will be automatically called at par plus a 15% call premium if the index closes at or above its initial level on July 12, 2023

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.4 times the index return.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by 20% or less and will lose 1.25% for every 1% decline beyond the 20% buffer.
