New Issue: HSBC sells $2.43 million buffered uncapped market participation notes on index, ETF

Buffalo, N.Y., May 31 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $2.43 million of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due May 28, 2024 tied to the performance of the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If each underlier finishes positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 2.05 times any gain of the least performing underlier.

If the worst performer declines but finishes at or above 95% of its initial level, investors will receive par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% drop of the worst performer beyond 5%.
