New Issue: HSBC prices $4.53 million barrier AMPS linked to Russell 2000

New York, April 8 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $4.53 million of 0% barrier Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Oct. 20, 2027 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is greater than or equal to 26%, the payout at maturity will be par plus the sum of 39.7% plus 1.66% for every 1% that the index return exceeds 26%, subject to a maximum return of 89.5%.

If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 1% but less than 26%, the payout will be par plus 10% plus 110% of the sum of 1% plus the index return.

If the index return is less than negative 1% but greater than or equal to negative 6%, the payout will be par plus 200% of the sum of 6% plus the index return.

If the index return is less than negative 6% but greater than or equal to negative 26%, investors will lose 1.3% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 6%.

If the index return is less than negative 26%, investors will be fully exposed to the index’s decline.
