New Issue: HSBC sells $869,000 buffered AMPS linked to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 3 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $869,000 of 0% buffered accelerated market participation securities due April 29, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of the index return, capped at par plus 13%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.
