New Issue: HSBC sells $50,000 contingent buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Los Angeles, April 24 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $50,000 of 0% contingent buffered notes due April 23, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 10.2% unless the index falls by more than 20%, in which case the payout will be par plus the index return with full exposure to losses.
JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the placement agents.
