HSBC to price dual directional buffered notes on Dow, Nasdaq, Russell

New York, March 17 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% dual directional buffered notes due March 20, 2023 linked to the least performing of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the Nasdaq-100 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 120% of the lesser-performing index’s gain.

If the lesser-performing index falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of this index’s return. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser-performing index’s return beyond the buffer.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price March 17 and settle March 20.

The Cusip number is 40438CBZ3.
