Moody's eyes HSBC USA for downgrade

Moody's Investors Service said it placed on review for downgrade all of of HSBC USA Inc.’s ratings and the long-term ratings of its bank subsidiary, HSBC Bank USA, NA. (

The review follows Moody's announcement the entities’ ultimate parent HSBC Holdings plc was placed on review for a downgrade. Last month, HSBC Holdings said it is exploring options to exit the U.S. retail banking market.
