HRPT Properties Trust plans to sell 10-year senior notes Wednesday

New York, Nov. 17 - HRPT Properties Trust announced an offering of 10-year senior notes on Tuesday, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes (Baa2/BBB/BBB) are expected to price on Wednesday, a source close to the deal said.

The issue is callable on or after Nov. 15, 2014 at a make-whole amount.

Bookrunners are Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley & Co. and Wells Fargo Securities. Joint lead managers are Morgan Keegan & Co. and RBC Capital Markets Corp.

Co-managers are Janney Montgomery Scott and Oppenheimer & Co.

Proceeds will be used to reduce amounts under a revolving credit facility.

The real estate investment trust is based in Newton, Mass.
