S&P gives SP-1+ rating to Houston tax notes
Standard & Poor's said it assigned its SP-1+ short-term rating to Houston's $80 million tax and revenue anticipation notes.
The notes are due June 30, 2009.
The city is authorized to borrow an additional $95 million later in the year, as needed. Its general obligation debt rating is AA.
