HM Publishing to bring $150 million discount notes

St. Louis, Sept. 29 - HM Publishing Co., the parent of Houghton Mifflin, expects to price $150 million of 10-year senior discount notes due 2013 (Caa1) on Tuesday.

Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman Sachs and CIBC World Markets will run the books on the Boston publisher's notes. HM Publishing is the parent of Houghton Mifflin.

The offering will come with a five-year zero coupon.

Proceeds will be used to pay a dividend to the company's sponsors.
