New Issue: Host Marriott upsizes four-year notes to $450 million, yield 9½%

St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 6 - Host Marriott Corp. upsized its drive-by offering of four-year senior notes (Ba3/BB) to $450 million from a planned $350 million and priced the deal late Thursday to yield 9½%.
Bookrunners on the Rule 144A deal were Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Banc of America Securities. Co-managers were Bear Stearns & Co., Credit Lyonnais, Credit Suisse First Boston, Goldman Sachs & Co., Merrill Lynch & Co., Morgan Stanley, Scotia Capital and SG Cowen.
