Hostess marks negative $15.64 million of EBITDA for January period

Pittsburgh, March 15 - Hostess Brands, Inc. posted negative $15.64 million of EBITDA for the period of Jan. 13 to Feb. 9 on $2.68 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
In comparison, the company reported negative $43.97 million of EBITDA on zero net revenues for the period of Dec. 16 to Jan. 12.
Hostess also reported an operating loss of $29.15 million and a net loss of $30.95 million for the latest period.
For the previous period, the operating loss was $73.07 million, and the net loss was $75.06 million.
Cash on hand as of Feb. 9 was $42.71 million, up from $25.95 million on Jan. 12.
Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
