Hostess Brands posts $6.74 million EBITDA for April 29 through June 2

Wilmington, Del., July 6 - Hostess Brands, Inc. posted $6.74 million of EBITDA for the period from April 29 through June 2 on total net sales of $232.8 million, according to the company's monthly operating report filed July 6 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Those figures compare to $2.9 million of EBITDA on $184.4 million in total net sales during April.

The company also reported an operating loss of $4.3 million for the period, compared to operating income of $1.22 million in April.

The $4.5 million net loss compares to a $938,000 net loss in April.

The company also reported cash on hand of $56.47 million as of June 2, down from $58.39 million at the end of May.

Hostess Brands, an Irving, Texas-based operator of regional bakeries, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 11. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-22052.
