Hospitality Staffing seeks 65-day exclusivity extension to ease sale

New York, Feb. 19 - Hospitality Staffing Solutions Group, LLC requested an extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and acceptance periods, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company would like to extend its filing period through April 28 from Feb. 21 and its solicitation period through June 23 from April 22.

With the sale of the company to its lender, HS Solutions, in October 2013, Hospitality Staffing is requesting the extension to provide an efficient and complete transition of its business operations to Solutions, the filing stated.

Hospitality Staffing, an Atlanta-based provider of hospitality staffing services to hotels, resorts and casinos, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 23. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-12740.
