Moody's rates Horsehead notes B2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned B2 corporate family and probability of default ratings to Horsehead Holding Corp.

At the same time, Moody's assigned a B2 rating to the company's guaranteed senior secured notes due 2017 and a SGL-2 speculative grade liquidity rating.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used to fund the construction of a new zinc plant, which will use solvent extraction technology.
