Hong Kong appoints 12 primary dealers for institutional bond program

San Diego, Aug. 26 - The Hong Kong Monetary Authority said that, as representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, it has appointed 12 primary dealers for the Institutional Bond Issuance Program under the Government Bond Program.

The two-year appointment begins Sept. 1 and will end Aug. 31, 2013.

The 12 dealers are Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd., Barclays Bank plc, BNP Paribas, Hong Kong, Citibank NA, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG, Hang Seng Bank Ltd., Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd., Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Hong Kong, Societe Generale and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd.
