New Issue: Hong Kong auctions HK$1.2 billion 0.36% notes due 2012 to yield 0.54%

New York, Nov. 16 - The Hong Kong Monetary Authority auctioned HK$1.2 billion of 0.36% exchange fund notes due Nov. 19, 2012 at an average accepted yield of 0.54%.
The average accepted price was 99.65, and the lowest accepted price was 99.63.
A total of HK$6.41 billion of demand was received for this sale, and the pro rata ratio was about 83%.
