New Issue: RBC prices $3 million 8.5% autocallable reverse convertibles on two stocks, fund
New York, Nov. 2 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $3 million of 9.6% autocallable reverse convertible notes due Nov. 3, 2016 linked to the worst performing of Blackstone Group LP, Honeywell International Inc. and Financial Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Interest is payable monthly.
The notes will be called at par plus accrued interest if each component closes at or above its initial price on any quarterly call date.
The payout at maturity will be par in cash unless the price of any component falls below its barrier price, 65% of its initial price, in which case the payout will be a number of shares of the worst performing component equal to $1,000 divided by the initial price.
