Fitch affirms Home Properties

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Home Properties, Inc., including the issuer default rating at BBB, bank credit facility BBB and preferred securities at BBB-.

Fitch said it has also assigned a BBB rating to Home Properties' exchangeable senior notes.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch's said its ratings reflect positively on Home Properties portfolio of assets in strong East Coast markets, its capital improvement strategy and the currently strong multifamily property fundamentals.
