Home Interiors & Gifts net loss declines to $2.93 million in March

Pittsburgh, April 14 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported a net loss of $2.93 million for March on zero sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

In comparison, the company posted a $2.88 million net loss for February, also on zero sales.

Home Interiors had $3.55 million in cash at March 31, down from $3.94 million at the end of February.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
