Home Interiors posts $2.95 million December net loss on zero sales

Pittsburgh, Jan. 14 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported a net loss of $2.95 million for December on zero sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

In comparison, the company posted a $2.59 million net loss for November, also on zero sales.

Home Interiors had $3.54 million in cash at Dec. 31, down from $6.04 million at the end of November.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
