Home Interiors posts $2.86 million May net loss on zero revenues

Pittsburgh, June 16 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported a $2.86 million net loss for May on zero revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

In comparison, Home Interiors posted a $2.97 million net loss in April, also on zero revenues.

The company had $11.70 million in cash at May 31, down slightly from $11.74 million at the end of April.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
