Home Interiors posts $4.86 million net loss for month ended Nov. 22

Pittsburgh, Dec. 22 - Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. reported a $4.86 million net loss for the month ended Nov. 22 on $15.3 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The figures showed improvement over the $5.59 million net loss posted for the month ended Oct. 25 on $11.19 million in revenues.

The company had $23.69 million in cash at Nov. 22, up from $20.36 million at Oct. 25.

Home Interiors & Gifts is a Dallas-based integrated manufacturer and distributor of home decorative accessories. The company filed for bankruptcy on April 29, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-31961.
