Discovery Equity owns more than 1.4 million shares of Home Diagnostics

Charlotte, N.C., June 24 - A group of shareholders led by Discovery Equity Partners, LP beneficially own 1,414,810 shares, or 8.4%, of Home Diagnostics, Inc. following a series of share purchases between May 20 and June 23, according to a schedule 13D/A filed on Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Discovery Group bought the shares for approximately $10.3 million, the filing said.
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Home Diagnostics develops blood glucose monitoring systems and disposable supplies for diabetics.
