Hologic files automatic shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 3 - Hologic, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The securities covered under the filing are common stock, preferred stock, debt securities, rights, warrants, purchase contracts and units. The debt securities, preferred stock, warrants and units may be convertible, exercisable or exchangeable for common stock, preferred stock or other securities.

Proceeds will be set forth in the applicable prospectus supplement.

Hologic is a diagnostic and medical imaging company based in Bedford, Mass.
