New Issue: Hologic prices $950 million 8.3-year senior notes at par to yield 3¼%

Portland, Ore., Sept. 14 – Hologic, Inc. priced a $950 million issue of senior notes due Feb. 15, 2029 (Ba2/BB-) at par to yield 3¼% in a Monday drive-by, according to a syndicate source.
The yield printed on top of talk in the 3¼% area.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC was the left bookrunner. Joint bookrunners were BofA Securities Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, MUFG and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.
The Marlborough, Mass.-based medical technology company plans to use the proceeds, together with available cash, which may include proceeds from its secured revolver, to pay off its 4 3/8% senior notes due 2025 on or about Oct. 15, 2020.
