Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals files stock, warrant shelf

Washington, July 8 - Hollis Eden Pharmaceuticals, Inc. filed a shelf for up to 5 million common shares and warrants in an S-3 registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The San Diego-based developmental stage pharmaceuticals company put the current prospective value of the shelf at $37 million.

The company said proceeds from offerings authorized by the filing would go for research and development and for general corporate purposes.

The company also withdrew a shelf registration filed July 24, 2003.
