Hollinger to bring $110 million seven-year notes via Wachovia

St. Louis, Feb. 28 - Hollinger Inc. announced its intention to come to the high-yield market with $110 million of senior secured notes due 2010 (B), according to company and syndicate sources.

Wachovia Securities, Inc. will be the bookrunner.

The Rule 144A notes will be non-callable for four years.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt.

The issuer is a newspaper publisher with English-language newspapers in the United States, Great Britain, and Israel.

Timing remains to be determined.
