American Apparel to start roadshow Tuesday for $200 million notes

Portland, Ore., March 8 - American Apparel, Inc. plans to start a roadshow on Tuesday in New York for a $200 million offering of senior secured notes, according to a buyside source.
Cowen & Co. and Seaport Group are the joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering.
The Los Angeles-based vertically integrated clothing manufacturer plans to use the proceeds to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes.
