By Sarah Lizee

Olympia, Wash., April 30 – American Airlines, Inc. plans to repay its class C certificates on June 1 using proceeds from a $100 million planned tranche of 2012-2C(R) pass-through certificates, series 2012-2, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The class C certificates bear interest at a fixed rate of 5.45% per annum and have a final regular distribution date of June 3.
