Hillsborough County, Fla., school board defeases $66.2 million COPs

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 20 – The Hillsborough County School Board of Florida defeased $66.2 million of its series 2006A Master Lease Program certificates of participation, according to a notice.

The following certificates have been defeased and will be redeemed July 1, 2016 at par plus accrued interest:

• $5.24 million of 4% certificates due July 1, 2018;

• $2.77 million of 4% certificates due July 1, 2019;

• $2,885,000 of 4.125% certificates bonds due July 1, 2020;

• $765,000 of 4.125% certificates due July 1, 2021;

• $2,255,000 of 4.2% certificates due July 1, 2021;

• $3,285,000 of 5% certificates due July 1, 2022;

• $100,000 of 4.3% certificates due July 1, 2023;

• $3.34 million of 5% certificates due July 1, 2023;

• $910,000 of 4.3% certificates due July 1, 2024;

• $2,715,000 of 5% certificates due July 1, 2024;

• $3,805,000 of 5% certificates due July 1, 2025;

• $3,985,000 of 5% certificates due July 1, 2026;

• $12,595,000 of 4.5% certificates due July 1, 2031; and

• $21.55 million of 5% certificates due July 1, 2031.
