New Issue: Hillsborough County, Fla., prices $67.45 million capital improvement revenue bonds

New York, May 30 - Hillsborough County of Florida sold $67,445,000 of series 2012 capital improvement program revenue bonds Wednesday, according to a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa2/AA+/AA+) were sold competitively. The issuer did not return calls requesting the winning bidder.

The bonds are due 2013 to 2026 with 2% to 5% coupons.

Proceeds will be used for the construction, equipment and acquisition of a county jail, additional county service center facilities, recreational park improvements, storm water utility improvements and transportation improvements, as well as to refinance commercial paper notes.
