Hiland files $500 million shelf

New York, Jan. 5 - Hiland Partners, LP and Hiland Partners Finance Corp. registered to sell up to $500 million of common units and debt securities in an S-3 shelf filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Friday.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Hiland, an Enid, Okla., midstream energy partnership, will use proceeds for general partnership purposes.
