Moody's gives Aaa to N.J. student loan bonds

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned preliminary ratings of Aaa and provisional underlying ratings of A2 to the $350 million 2008 series student loan revenue bonds to be issued by the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority of New Jersey.

The ratings are under review for possible downgrade because the bonds' insurer, Assured Guaranty Corp., is on review by Moody's.

Wells Fargo Bank NA (Aaa/P-1) is the trustee.
