Hidroelectrica El Chocon to prepay notes due 2007 on Sept. 15

Pittsburgh, Sept. 8 - Hidroeléctrica El Chocón SA will prepay its notes due 2007 on Sept. 15 using financing from Deutsche Bank AG, London branch and Standard Bank plc, according to a company news release.

Hidroelectrica El Chocon is a Buenos Aires, Argentina, hydroelectric generation company.
